DPCC Meetings

The four programme Districts had organized their respective District Programme Coordination Committee (DPCC) Meetings in last week.

Akola District: 24th August, 2010

The Akola District PCC was organized on 24th August, 2010 at Collector Office, Akola

Yavatmal District: 25th August, 2010

The Yavatmal District PCC was organized on 25th August 2010 at 4 pm at Collector Office, Yavatmal under the chairmanship of District collector and Line Departments (Members of the DPCC). Additional Project Director, CAIM gave the detailed presentation on CAIM design, its Goal and objectives and proposed interventions in project. This was brief orientation about the project within DPCC (line departments) at District level. Mr. Kapil Bendre,ABE-CAIM-PMU, Mr. Himmat Patel, Development Officer-SRTT were present from PMU. Ms. Vandana Raut, District Project Manager (CAIM-Yavatmal) facilitated this meeting along with District Programme Management Team.

Washim District: 26th August, 2010

This DPCC for washim District was organized on 26th August, 2010 at Collector Office Washim.

Buldhana District: 27th August, 2010

The DPCC of Buldhana District was organized on 27th August, 2010. Mr. Dilipsing Bayas, KME-CAIM-PMU and Mr. Laxman Bake, MEO-CAIM-PMU were participated from PMU unit Amravati. This meeting was organized under the chairmanship of District Collector, Mr. Ramaswami N and the members of DPCC were present. Members and the chairperson were keen to know the cluster identification process and District Collector instructed DPMT Manager-CAIM to discuss these details with line departments and get their feedback on the same. He is keen to develop clusters with its unique interventions accordance with the geographical advantages for the sub project. He further added that these cluster should be recognized with their business activities (income generating activities). Mr. Alok Modi, District Project Manager, DPMT-Buldhana facilitated the meeting along with DPMT Team.
